Shipping Rates:

All shipping rates to main cities/towns (metro area) can be calculated at time of check out.

We offer the following scenarios.

  1. Direct to home – most expensive due to home delivery surcharge imposed by freight companies. All of them have imposed these.
  2. Direct to Business address (not a work from home business) OR Direct to local depot – THE CHEAPEST OPTION as it wont incur the home delivery surcharge.

Auckland metro is within Albany-Takanini-Massey-Howick (For Waiheke - request a quote).

IF YOU WANT SOUTH ISLAND DELIVERY WE SUGGEST YOU EMAIL US ON info@sofasandmore.co.nz AND WE WILL GIVE YOU A SPECIFIC QUOTE.

Please note: NO Rural delivery.

Items up to 25kg / less than 1.8m  – sent via Courier Company.

Items greater than 25kg / over 1.8m – sent via General Freight company.

Shipping Time Frames:

North Island: Approx 5 - 7 working days.

South Island: Approx 7 - 10 working days.

 

Delivery Insurance / Inspection on Delivery / Depot Pick Up:

All of our deliveries come with insurance to protect your new items against damage while in transit.
To make the most of this insurance - you MUST check all boxes on delivery BEFORE signing for it; if there is any sign of damage to the boxes you must sign the drivers’ sheet as DAMAGED.
DO NOT SIGN BEFORE CHECKING THE BOXES
If you do not sign DAMAGED you have accepted the delivery as being in perfect condition
signing Unchecked or Check Later will void the insurance.
If you notify us that the product has been damaged in transit but the packaging appeared "undamaged" you MUST PHOTOGRAPH the packaging, you must also retain the complete packaging until you are satisfied that there is no problem with the order. If you throw away the packaging and then notify us of damage having signed for the goods in good condition we may be unable to offer free of charge replacements.

If you are not present and the goods are left by the delivery company unsigned and you find damage don’t open the boxes. Contact us immediately to report the issue.

Requesting a Delivery Date:

We cannot guarantee deliveries for a specific date or time.We can request a day from the delivery company (if reasonable notice given). The delivery company will contact you re delivery or you can in turn contact them.
